【Product Usage Instructions】:

  1. Before opening the package, ensure that the package is intact. Check the expiration date of sterilization.
  2.  Determine the location of the pulmonary nodule through CT.
  3. Disinfect the puncture site and apply local anesthetic to the puncture site.
  4.  Open the package, take out the positioning needle, and remove the protective sleeve.
  5. Before puncture, ensure that the bent part of the guide wire does not protrude beyond the tip of the puncture needle.
  6. Under CT guidance, insert the positioning needle through the chest wall and pleura to the pulmonary nodule or its edge.
  7. Hold the position of the needle tip and push the positioning wire forward into the needle tube to fix it at the nodule or its edge. When the second mark is pushed into the needle tube and is no longer visible, it indicates that the tip of the positioning wire is fully expanded, forming a fixed curved shape. Note: The depth of the positioning wire pushed into the puncture needle is only when the last visible mark is pushed into the cannula and is just invisible. Important note: Do not continue to push the positioning wire into the puncture needle after this.
  8.  Before pulling out the needle, check whether the position of the positioning wire is correct.
  9. Pull the puncture needle out of the body. Push the opened fixing clip onto the positioning wire until it is adjacent to the skin surface (note: there must be a little gap between the skin and the fixing clip). The positioning wire must be located between the fixing brackets of the fixing clip. Lock the fixing clip to fix the guide wire, thereby preventing the positioning wire from shifting along the distal end.
  10. Treat the wound.
  11. After the operation, ensure that the puncture needle is placed in an appropriate puncture needle container and properly discarded.
